With Velveteen Dream as the Legal Man in the Ring
Constable Carlos Rivera of the Altamonte Springs Police Department testified that while guarding the Days Inn hotel at 150 S. Westmonte Drive, a well-known area of the city, he spotted a blue Dodge Challenger with temporary Florida tags circulating around the hotel grounds without lights around 11:38 p.m. Wednesday. November 17, 2021. Constable Rivera “observed the vehicle parked at random locations within the hotel compound, stopped for approximately 15 minutes, and then proceeded to another hotel parking lot. The vehicle circled the hotel twice more as it drove north on Westmonte Dr. and took a traffic light on the right to drive east of SR 436. A widespread trend in professional wrestling is the recent arrest of Patrick Clark, formerly known as the animated character Velveteen Dream in WWE`s “NXT”. The former North American “NXT” champion, who once seemed destined for greatness in WWE, was crowned on June 20. August was arrested for first-degree assault and trespassing, in violation of his court-ordered probation during a November 2021 arrest that charged him with possession of cocaine, destruction, alteration or concealment of physical evidence, use or possession of drug paraphernalia. and do not have lamps/lights in their vehicle. Dream`s attorney in the Seminole County charges, Ken Eulo of the law firm Smith & Eulo, filed a notice of appearance on Tuesday, Aug. 23, a written plea not guilty, a motion for discovery and a motion for indictment that appears to apply to the most recent charges for which Dream was arrested.
Eulo also filed a bail application on Friday, August 26 at around 4 p.m. Eulo is expected to arrive on Tuesday the 13th. Dream will appear before a judge for a 1:30 p.m. hearing in Seminole County to see if Dream will be released on bail. The records also show that an application was filed on Tuesday, August 23, but was rejected on August 26, and we cannot see them because they are marked as confidential. Dream has registered Kortney Daly as an attorney to represent him in the recent Orange County trials, which ended Aug. 20, and she works at the same firm where Ken works. Rivera then described in the arrest report how he caught Dream with cocaine, writing: “As I sat inside, I observed a black man, later identified as Patrick Clark, talking to PFC Belt. Clark provided PFC Belt with his Maryland driver`s license and vehicle information, which was then returned to his patrol vehicle. I stayed at the passenger`s door and kept an eye on Clark to ensure the agent`s safety.
As I stood in front of the passenger door, I watched Clark pull out of his wallet a small, transparent bag containing a white, powdery substance. Clark opened the bag and placed the powdered white substance in a line on the side of his left hand. Based on my education and experience, I recognized the powdered white matter as cocaine. At this point, Clark began sniffing the white, powdery substance in his nose. I started waving the PFC belt towards the vehicle for help. Then I started telling Clark to drop the bag and put his hands in the air. Meanwhile, Clark tried to hide the small clear bag between the driver`s seat and center console with a white powdery substance that was spilled on the driver`s seat and on his person. Clark then got out of the vehicle and was handcuffed for further examination. Dream originally appeared on the 6th season of WWE Tough Enough in 2015 and was signed in October of that year before making her NXT in-ring debut in February 2016. Amid the controversy, he was fired on May 20, 2021, after months of inactivity, his last game being a loss to Adam Cole in the December 23, 2020 issue of NXT.
Dream left the company as a former North American NXT champion. You may remember how Dream was charged with 3rd degree criminal mischief, a felony, in December 2019. A man in Orlando had surveillance footage of his 2015 Infiniti QX70 being robbed, and he identified Dream as the suspect. The license plate of the car that fled the scene is believed to match the car registered on Dream, and it has been identified in a police queue. The damages amounted to $1,800 and a warrant was issued against Dream. However, the arrest warrant was recalled on 11 February 2020 and issued without being issued on 12 February. At the time, it was reported that the case was not amenable to prosecution after investigation. It was never clear what led to the change of case, but Dream narrowly escaped a criminal case at the time. He wasn`t so lucky in November 2021, but he has so far avoided the media picking up the story.
It will be interesting to see the outcome of the current legal situation in which he finds himself. People get angry when someone puts this on it, as if they see everyone discovering them for the first time and getting angry because someone posted a GIF or correspondence of them. As some people are selfish and self-centered, where they look at someone building an audience and “ugh I`m tired of him becoming popular” Constable Rivera then charged Dream with possession of cocaine and destruction of physical evidence, both 3rd degree felonies. Cocaine 0.1 grams with the bag when weighed at the police station. Dream also received a traffic violation for driving without lights at night — no lights or lighting equipment. Rivera added: “Based on the above information, I likely find cause to charge Clark with possession of cocaine F.S.S 893.13 6a when I saw Clark sitting in the driver`s seat and sniffing a white, powdery substance that tested positive for cocaine in a small plastic bag, and F.S.S 918.13 1a Destroying evidence, when Clark tried to ingest the cocaine into the plastic bag, believing that law enforcement was no longer able to observe his actions. This was an attempt to deceive law enforcement. Clark was handcuffed, which was checked for a correct fit and doubly closed.
