The worst airline ever! We are in Vegas Italy with 4 bags missing. No one will contact us, will not transmit to us without information. All I can do is post this comment. I`m shocked at how badly it went, an absolute shame. We have been here for 3 days without bags, without updates and have been on hold for a total of 5 hours over a period of 3 days. However, when I checked in my luggage with my travel partners, I handed over both of our luggage to the employee I had also paid for, but my bag was the only lost bag. It was a non-stop flight, the bag is identifiable because it is pink and eye-catching. In my bag there was a lot of valuable contents, including all my clothes and shoes, very expensive jewelry, makeup, toiletries, my prescribed medications, to name a few.
The first lady who took our bags was extremely rude when I smiled and I said hello to her colleague whom she had initially ignored me and then responded with an unprofessional attitude that seemed to feel rushed, impatient and upset. After landing, we went to baggage claim in Vegas (our destination), the lady there was not interested in answering our questions or encouraging us that my precious luggage would have been or would have been found. When I asked something, which I think are very simple and logical questions, we were met with idk and call the number. Let us now turn to the number; As our trip was effectively ruined because we had nothing but the active clothes I was wearing, my purse and laptop, we spent the duration of our trip at the hotel and called. I called several times and was waiting to get a representative for over 3 hours on average each time. And when we finally got someone, the story continued: “Sorry, we don`t know where it is. It was last marked as registered with RDU but never made the flight to Vegas. No idea if he didn`t make the flight non-stop and wasn`t put on another flight, where is he then? My worried mother called RDU and got me 3 ways once she had someone on the phone. The lady said she couldn`t find him on the phone, but she would ask some people to check in more deeply and call back. A few hours later, she called back, but without any information about where the bag was and how it happened.
Not only did I lose thousands of dollars in items, but I also had panic attacks and emotional anxiety because Delta lost my stuff and didn`t have my medications, had to buy clothes that weren`t budgeted for when I was planning my trip, had to buy makeup and other toiletries, who all came the day after we landed, and under the optimistic and false pretext, that it could be limited to our room was found and brought to our room. We had a lot of things planned that we missed. Even now, all I got was that a case manager could be assigned and 10 days later still no case manager, no one sent an email or called to confirm that EVERYTHING is being done to resolve this issue. I still don`t have any answers. I had to spend much of my trip in the room, waiting. Now that I`m at home, I`ve had to take the time to get answers about what`s going on. This is incredibly disappointing. The reason I was willing to pay a higher premium to fly Delta against the competition cost me thousands of dollars, hours of precious time for something I`m not to blame, and blew up in my face. There must be a solution immediately.

You have not responded to any of my complaints, but you have generalized them. Look, my biggest complete thing is that you guys, by having a delay and not being able to move me to a direct fight that was on time in Detroit, made me miss my father`s funeral when you moved us to Atlanta and the connection was delayed and only 10 minutes before the fight started announced the use. Not once did you tell me how you wanted to do it to me, and everyone I spoke to on the phone said their hands were tied. Worst missed experience with that shitty communication sent by your marketing and PR team.
