Richmond Council Legal Team
The service is ISO 9001:2015 accredited and provides all legal services provided by local authorities to the management of all councils, as well as advice to board members, boards, board committees and schools in accordance with service level agreements. Due to the limited number of spaces, we base our decisions on a careful and holistic assessment of each individual`s promise of success at Richmond Law and their suitability for the legal profession. Rebecca Bowen`s legal work is a mix of business and family matters – and sometimes both at the same time, especially when it comes to estate and estate planning. He helps clients proactively meet their legal needs – before a client`s legal needs meet them. The University of Richmond School of Law offers generous scholarships. All applicants for admission will be considered for these scholarships; No separate application form is required. Scholarships are based on LSAT score, undergraduate academic achievement, and eligibility for law school. For more information on merit scholarships, contact the Law School Admissions Office at 804-289-8189. For more information on loans, visit our Financial Aid Office website, contact them at finaid@richmond.edu or 804-289-8438. The aim of the service is to provide more resilient and better quality legal services than individual authorities, assuming that savings will have to be made in the budgets of all local authorities in the future.

The request for an advance ruling is a binding motion for people who know Richmond Law is their first choice. An advance ruling applicant may apply for admission to other law schools on a non-binding basis, but once admitted to the University of Richmond Law School as an Early Decision Applicant, the applicant must withdraw all other applications to the law school and cannot submit new applications for admission. TOEFL Exemption for International ApplicantsInternational applicants must be fluent in English. Candidates whose first language is not English must take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) exam. All results must be submitted through LSAC; Hard copies of scores will not be accepted. If you are handing over documents, you can use the mailbox at the main entrance. International applicants who believe they are fluent in English or have obtained their bachelor`s degree (or other higher degrees) at an institution where the main language of instruction is English may apply for a waiver of the English exam requirement. Applicants must submit a written statement on how they have their skills and how they acquired them, i.e. either through education or work experience in an English-speaking professional field. As part of the process, all applicants must disclose all information about events that occurred before and during law school. The State Bar Association`s Character and Fitness Committee will compare your answers to its questions with those of your law school application. Any discrepancies can have adverse consequences, so the information you provide in your law school application must be accurate and complete. If the committee concludes that your responses to the law school`s application do not match those of the law review application, the review panel will likely undertake a more in-depth review of your file. If this exam takes place, you may be subject to sanctions, including revocation of admission to law school and/or delay in certification of eligibility.
